I'm a member of an indie film group...we're going to see The Kite Runner next weekend! I can't imagine it could be nearly as good as the book was. I have the whole story, images, characters, scenes, everything all played out in my mind from what I imagined when I read the book. It'll be interesting to compare the movie to the book...
